What is Elemental Designs?
Elemental Designs is a local, woman-owned business based in Southwest Florida. We handcraft candles, fragrance sprays, lotions, and lip balms in small batches, with scents ranging from familiar comforts to wonderfully unexpected combinations.
How do I shop by scent?
Each scent has its own product page. Find a fragrance you love, then use the available options to choose your product and size. Prices update based on your selection.
Is every scent available in every product?
Product availability varies by scent. Each scent page shows the formats and sizes currently offered. If you don’t see a particular option, it isn’t currently available for that fragrance.
How do I choose a scent without smelling it?
Start with our scent categories and the three-descriptor tagline on each listing. The description, scent notes, and “Behind the Scent” section offer a closer look at the fragrance.

Mix and match sample-size lotions, fragrance sprays, 1 oz wax melts, and mini lip balms from the available options. Samples are $2 each, or any 6 for $10. Try different scents, compare product types, or discover a new lip balm flavor.
I've received a sample where do I find out more about the product?
Lucky you! We know the labels on our sample products are small with not enough room for important info like ingredients or best use suggestions. Each label has a QR code linking to a page with exactly that missing info or you can find that information here: Sample Label Info
Will the same scent smell exactly alike in a candle, lotion, and spray?
You’ll recognize the same fragrance, but each format can bring out different notes. A candle releases fragrance as it warms, while lotion and spray may develop differently on your skin or in your space.
What ingredients are in your lotions?
Our lotions contain distilled water, olive oil, BTMS-50, fractionated coconut oil, stearyl alcohol, jojoba oil, emulsifying wax, argan oil, shea butter, cocoa butter, vitamin E, preservative, and fragrance.
Before using, test a small amount on an easily washed area, such as the back of your hand, to check for irritation. Avoid contact with eyes and broken skin, and keep out of reach of children.
What ingredients are in your lip balm?
Our lip balms contain coconut oil, olive oil, candelilla wax, castor oil, vitamin E, and flavor/fragrance.
For best results, apply a thin layer to clean, dry lips, then press your lips together to distribute the balm.
Please note: This product contains oils, waxes, and botanical extracts that may cause allergic skin reactions. The safety of this product has not been tested. Review the ingredients before use, especially if you have known allergies or sensitivities.
What ingredients are in your fragrance sprays?
Both our body sprays and room + linen sprays contain SD alcohol, water, glycerin, propylene glycol, and fragrance.
Although the base ingredients are the same, not every fragrance is intended for use on skin. Always check the product option and label before use.
What’s the difference between body-safe and room + linen sprays?
Body sprays use fragrances suitable for skin application when used as directed. Before using, test a small amount on an easily washed area, such as the back of your hand, to check for irritation.
Room + linen sprays are not skin safe and should never be applied to your body.
Check the selected spray type before purchasing.
A scent being available as a lotion does not automatically mean its spray version is body safe.
What precautions should I take when using fragrance sprays?
Keep all sprays out of reach of children and away from flames and high heat. Avoid contact with the face, eyes, and broken skin.
Avoid direct contact with wood and other finished surfaces, as sprays may cause discoloration. Before spraying fabrics, test a small, hidden area first.
Only apply sprays specifically labeled as body safe to your skin, and follow the product’s label directions.
How do I care for my candle?
Follow the care instructions on your candle’s label, including wick trimming and burn-time guidance.
Be sure to trim your wick to 1/4inch before each use.
Place it on a stable, heat-resistant surface away from drafts and flammable items.
Never leave a burning candle unattended, and keep it out of reach of children and pets.
How do I use wax melts?
Place your wax melt in a warmer designed for wax melts and follow the warmer manufacturer’s instructions. Remove packaging before use, and never add water.
The wax remains after the fragrance fades. Allow it to cool before removing or replacing it according to your warmer’s directions.
